This is a time for teens to express their creativity, be in community, and celebrate the entrance of the New Year. Teens have the option of simply joining the Zoom room or adding on the food basket and/or art kit. We are partnering with Grand Bakery to supply the food and Aran's Art Studio to create the art kits. All boxes will be delivered on Sept. 17 or 18th.  Join on Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88037688758

Rosh Hashanah Virtual Guided Hike, Sept. 20th @ 1pm invites teens onto an urban trek. The hike will be a chance for active prayer, meditation, time in nature, reflection and discussion. Each teen can take a walk around their neighborhood with family or friends while on a conference call or Zoom video with others, or without technology. A guide book for teens will be provided to use with or without technology.  Join on Zoom at: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84083341413

Teen Virtual Havdalah Dance Party on Sept. 26th @ 7pm is a chance to share in a communal Havdalah, followed by a virtual dance party! A chance to celebrate the New Year, while also meeting new teens.

Yom Kippur - Jonah Theatre Re-Enactment on Sept. 28th where teens will re-enact the story of Jonah! This pre-recorded video will utilize the creative writings of teens into an edited piece that reflects on the Jonah story, with particular attention to the voices we don't usually think about in the story. The working title, “What did the Whale Think” will be lead by David Neufeld with teen participants and will also have online materials for reflection. If we can figure out a time, we could also do a live session of sharing the video followed by discussion and deeper Torah study.
