Teen Virtual Havdalah Dance Party on Sept. 26th @ 7pm is a chance to share in a communal Havdalah, followed by a virtual dance party! A chance to celebrate the New Year, while also meeting new teens.
Yom Kippur - Jonah Theatre Re-Enactment on Sept. 28th where teens will re-enact the story of Jonah! This pre-recorded video will utilize the creative writings of teens into an edited piece that reflects on the Jonah story, with particular attention to the voices we don't usually think about in the story. The working title, “What did the Whale Think” will be lead by David Neufeld with teen participants and will also have online materials for reflection. If we can figure out a time, we could also do a live session of sharing the video followed by discussion and deeper Torah study.
