  • June 24th: Kick-off Summer Sheva with Art in a Box making "Mandala Plate" with local artist Aran Mimran and Midrasha Connect with all your Midrasha friends and educators!

  • July 1st: Midrasha Connect plus our 1st Celebrity Chef Night with Jet Tila making Pineapple Fried Rice!!

  • July 8th:  Summer Sheva #3 continues with second Art in a Box night and Midrasha Connect.

  • July 15th: Summer Sheva #4 features Midrasha Connect and make Dolmas and green Shakshuka with a local chef, Aliza Grayevsky Somekh.

  • July 22nd: "Nosh with Tash" featuring Food Network chef, Natasha Feldman. We'll connect with Midrasha too!

  • July 29th is Tisha B'Av, we'll chat about this at Midrasha Connect and make Art again.

  • August 5th ends our Summer Sheva with a Drive-In movie night!


Summer Sheva 2020

Join us for 7 weeks of getting social while social distancing -- featuring celebrity chefs, art in a box, and drive-in movie night. You show up on Zoom, we'll bring the fun to you!


  • Midrasha Connect!  Miss your friends? Need to decompress? Midrasha's Summer Sheva is keeping the OG Midrasha experience - still the place to go to chill and have some old-fashioned hang out time with your Jew Crew. 

  • Celebrity Chef Classes!  Imagine a box of delicious ingredients showing up at your door, ready to cook with celebrity chefs! Join these exclusive cooking classes with Food Network and local stars Jet Tila, Natasha Feldman & Aliza Grayevsky Somekh for quarantine entertainment you couldn't get anywhere else! (July 1st, 15th & 22nd) 

  • Art in a Box!  Wanna get in a craftsy mood, but don't know where to start? Midrasha's Summer Sheva "Art in a Box" will have a whole project planned for you, down to the sparkly glitter. We'll even deliver a weekly "art kit" to your front door. (June 24, July 8 & July 29)

  • Drive-In Movie Night! End your summer right with a hot August movie night.  Together under the stars, we'll enjoy a film from the East Bay International Jewish Film Festival. (August 5, 2020)
