Midrasha's American and Israeli
Teen Integration Program
Mifgash is designed to grow our Jewish teens' connection to Israel by building friendships between our teens and Israeli peers.
With Mifgash, the goal is for teens to strengthen relationships between our teens and the people of Israel, educate Israeli teens about Jewish life in the Diaspora, serve as a catalyst for further Israel-Diaspora relationship building and programming, develop a deeper connection to Israel through personal relationships, share our culture and our Jewish lives in America, and of course, practice Tikkun Olam (Repairing the world)!
Mifgash is on hiatus for Summer 2024.
Stay tuned as we are looking into various ways for our teens to connect with Israel in the interim.

Join For Winter Or Summer
In the summer, teens are invited to host Israeli teens or just hop on the bus for the whole time or one day at a time. In the winter, our teens visit Israel, hosted by Israeli teens and their families.

...inviting all rising 8th graders through graduated 12th graders to participate in summer Mifgash!

There Are Two Ways To Join In The Program
Each Winter, a group of Midrasha teens fly to Israel to participate in a 10-12 day adventure across the country. They're accompanied by like-minded Israeli teens and they have the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and experience what teen life is like in the Jewish homeland.

The Israeli teens that partner with Contra Costa Midrasha attend high school in Israel. They are a group of excited, passionate, and adventurous students who are eager to learn and partner with their teen counterparts here in the Easy Bay!
